Segment 1 is an experiment in the concept of a modular table. It is designed to be used on its own, seating six, or one of a set of three to form a circle or sinuous line to seat up to 14 people.
There is no head of the table and everyone can communicate with everyone else.
The form is based on an orange with pith, fruit and skin reflected in different materials. It’s made of sycamore, oak and fumed oak, and finished with matt lacquer.
